Arby’s has teamed up with AC Barbeque, a seasoning and rub brand created by comedians Anthony Anderson and Cedric the Entertainer, for what it calls an “authentic” collaboration.
This new partnership focuses on adding two “smoky” sandwiches and two BBQ sauces to Arby’s menu, rather than merchandise or special offers. The new items will be available nationwide later this month.
The new sandwiches, the Quarter Pound Brisket BBQ Sandwich and the Quarter Pound Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich, will be priced starting at $5.99, depending on location. The brisket is slow-smoked for 13 hours and topped with sweet, garlicky dill pickles, served on a toasted sesame seed bun. The pulled pork is smoked for six hours over hickory wood, creating a mix of smoky shreds and bark pieces, and is also topped with pickles on a sesame seed bun.
The collaboration also includes two new BBQ sauces. Cedric’s Sweet Bussin Brown Sugar Sauce is a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce made with slow-cooked brown sugar, which blends malt and caramel flavors. Anthony’s Spicy Chipotle Smoke Sauce offers a smoky, spicy kick from chipotle peppers, bringing a bold flavor to the sandwiches.
The new sandwiches and sauces will be available at participating Arby’s locations starting Monday, April 28.
