The latest addition, dubbed ‘Synergy’, introduces an immersive digital experience crafted by Belgian CG artist Maxime Ghislain, known for his visionary work on projects like the ‘Evangelion Kabukicho Impact’. This dynamic spectacle, launched on June 24, unfolds nightly across the world’s largest projection area spanning 13,905 square meters, illuminating the Shinjuku skyline with breathtaking visuals.
Designed to explore the harmonious relationship between humanity and nature, ‘Synergy’ envisions a future where perfect equilibrium is achieved, captivating audiences with its artistic prowess.
Adding to the allure, organizers have introduced a delightful twist: food trucks and drink stands are now stationed at the site during weekends and holidays. This culinary enhancement allows spectators to savor refreshments while basking in the mesmerizing display.
The Tokyo Night & Light showcase at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building stands as a premier attraction for locals and tourists alike, offering a compelling blend of artistry and culinary delights. ‘Synergy’ is presented at 7:30 PM on weekends and every half hour from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM on weeknights, inviting visitors to indulge in an unforgettable sensory experience under the starry Shinjuku sky.
