Revival Food Hall in Chicago’s Loop will be closing its doors at the end of July, marking the end of an eight-year tenure. The closure was announced by the owners, who cited challenges with their landlord regarding business terms as a key factor in the decision.
In a message addressed to patrons, the owners expressed their mission to bring people back downtown post-COVID and their vision for Revival to be a longstanding fixture in the Loop community. Regrettably, the inability to secure more favorable terms from their landlord has led to the closure.
Since its opening in 2016, Revival Food Hall has been known for showcasing local vendors such as Aloha Poke and Budlong Hot Chicken. Despite the closure, the owners emphasized their commitment to supporting small businesses and encouraged patrons to continue their support for these vendors.
Looking ahead, the owners will shift their focus to the From Here On food hall located in the Old Post Office.
The exact closing date for Revival Food Hall has not been specified beyond “the end of July.” Details regarding any future plans for the space were not disclosed at this time.
