Though there are numerous pub and bar patrons who enjoy a dram throughout the year, brand owners believe that the festive season will once again see an increase in interest. Iain Forteath, master blender at Angus Dundee Distillers, the company responsible for the Tomintoul and Glencadam distilleries, noted, “The festive season offers numerous opportunities for social events, ranging from office Christmas parties to family get-togethers, during which whisky tasting and cocktails become more prevalent.”
