McDonald’s fans are rejoicing with the return of a beloved dessert, calling it a “true miracle” as the fast-food chain reintroduces its popular Strawberry and Crème pie for a limited time.
Though McDonald’s has expanded its dessert menu over the years with offerings like specialty coffees and baked goods, the brand’s classic pies remain a fan favorite. According to food blogger Markie Devo, the highly anticipated Strawberry and Crème pie has made its comeback. Devo shared the news on January 4, revealing that the dessert, which features strawberries and vanilla-flavored crème baked in a sugar-coated flaky crust, has been spotted at locations across the United States, including in New York, Michigan, Florida, Georgia, and Arizona.
The return of the Strawberry and Crème pie comes after the seasonal holiday pie’s run ended. Devo suggested that fans check the McDonald’s app for availability in their region, as the pie may be offered at select locations.
Fans took to social media to express their excitement, with comments like “Finally… it’s back!!” and “Let’s go!!! Always so good.” One enthusiastic fan wrote, “My Freaking Favvvvvv, I’m Soooo Excited,” while another shared their excitement, saying, “I’ve never had any of McDonald’s pies, but this flavor sounds good.”
Others expressed their surprise at the availability, with one commenter writing, “Omg I just checked the app & we have them. A true miracle since we never get seasonal pies here.” Another fan, familiar with McDonald’s previous seasonal offerings, added, “If this is as good as the guava and cream pies McD had before, then I’m gonna have to try it.”
Although McDonald’s has yet to officially confirm whether the Strawberry and Crème pie will be part of the chain’s 2025 dessert lineup, fans can always count on the classic baked apple pie, which has been a menu staple since 1968, available nationwide year-round.
