After over a decade of serving iconic Malaysian dishes, the Malaysian Food Street at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) will close its doors permanently. The food court’s final day of operations is set for February 16.
In a statement to Mothership, RWS confirmed the closure and revealed plans for a new dining concept to be unveiled later in 2025. A spokesperson mentioned that the space will be rebranded with a fresh name and vision, marking the end of the current food court’s era.
For customers with unused credits or dining vouchers, RWS advised reaching out to dining@rwsentosa for assistance.
The Malaysian Food Street, which opened on January 12, 2012, featured 19 stalls offering a wide range of beloved Malaysian cuisine. Designed to evoke the charm of Malaysia’s streets, the food court featured facades resembling traditional shophouses and vintage 1950s-style coffee shop furnishings and street decor.
