Wendy’s is offering fans a new way to enjoy its iconic Frosty treat with the introduction of two customizable desserts. The Frosty Swirls will be available through the Wendy’s app starting Thursday, April 11, and in stores nationwide on Tuesday, April 15. The Frosty Fusions will follow, launching on May 12 at participating locations.
The new offerings allow customers to personalize their classic chocolate or vanilla Frosty by adding a variety of toppings and mix-ins. The Frosty Swirls are available in three flavor combinations: Strawberry, Caramel, and Brownie Batter.
Frosty Fusions take customization a step further, allowing customers to choose from several unique toppings and mix-ins. Options include the Pop-Tarts Strawberry Frosty Fusion, which features strawberry sauce and strawberry Pop-Tart pieces; the Oreo Brownie Frosty Fusion, with brownie batter sauce and Oreo cookie pieces; and the Caramel Crunch Frosty Fusion, made with caramel sauce and toffee pieces.
These new Frosty creations were first introduced at Wendy’s annual Investor Day event in March as a “fresh take” on the beloved dessert. Wendy’s did not immediately clarify whether these items are permanent or limited-time offerings.
The launch comes after the popularity of the limited-time Thin Mints Frosty, which debuted in February.
Wendy’s, headquartered in Ohio, has yet to provide pricing details for the new Frosty items.
