McDonald’s fans are one step closer to getting their favorite snack wrap back on the menu.
The snack wrap, a popular item that was discontinued in 2016, has remained a fan favorite ever since. Last year, McDonald’s USA President Joe Erlinger gave customers hope when he announced the wrap’s return.
In December, Erlinger told Good Morning America that the item, which has a loyal “cult following,” would be available again in 2025.
Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for more details about the return of the snack wrap, which features a flour tortilla filled with chicken strips, lettuce, shredded cheese, and a choice of ranch or honey mustard sauce.
On April 15, McDonald’s offered a small update with a tweet reading, “snack wraps 0x.14.2025.” While the company provided no further details and remained silent on follow-up questions, food bloggers quickly began speculating about the timing.
Food influencer Snackolator shared their prediction on Instagram, suggesting the wraps could return by May or June, with a definite launch by summer. Fans responded enthusiastically, with many expressing their excitement. One commenter suggested the wraps might return in June, while others voiced concerns about the price, asking whether the cost would remain the same as before.
Parade reached out to McDonald’s for comment but has yet to receive a response.
