Chili’s Grill & Bar is introducing a new burger to rival McDonald’s iconic Quarter Pounder. The Big QP burger is now part of the restaurant’s popular “3 for Me” menu, offering a fresh option for fast food enthusiasts.
“We believe Chili’s ‘3 For Me’ menu, which starts at just $10.99, has been the best value in the industry since its launch in 2022,” said George Felix, Chili’s Chief Marketing Officer, in a statement. “With the Big QP burger, we’ve enhanced the menu with a flavor profile that our guests will recognize.”
The Big QP meal includes the burger, unlimited chips and salsa, fries, and free soft drink refills. While it may not be cheaper than a McDonald’s Quarter Pounder combo—which costs between $5 and $7 for a medium fry and soft drink—it offers more for just a few dollars extra.
The Big QP burger features two slices of American cheese, mustard, ketchup, pickles, and diced onions. Chili’s claims it contains 85% more beef than McDonald’s Quarter Pounder.
Chili’s “3 for Me” menu offers customizable meal deals starting at $10.99. Appetizers include bottomless chips and salsa, house salad, or a cup of Chicken Enchilada or Baked Potato Soup. For a small upcharge, customers can upgrade to a bowl of soup or a Dip Trio. Drinks such as fountain sodas, lemonade, and iced tea are included, with margaritas available for an additional $3.99.
Entrées at the $10.99 tier include the Big QP, the Oldtimer with Cheese, the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and the Big Smash Burger. Higher-tier entrées are also available for $14.99 and $16.99.
Desserts like Cheesecake and Mini Chocolate Molten Cake can be added for $3.99.
