McDonald’s has introduced a new dipping sauce to its menu, and early reviews are overwhelmingly positive. Along with the launch of its highly anticipated McCrispy Chicken Strips in select U.S. locations, the fast food giant is debuting the Creamy Chili McCrispy Strip Dip, a sauce that packs a flavorful punch.
The official description of the sauce notes it is “savory, slightly tangy, sweet with a hint of chili pepper heat, and a nutty toasted sesame finish.” Like many other McDonald’s sauces, it can be paired with any menu item, whether it’s for dipping fries or adding to a burger.
Customers who have had the chance to try it early have given it high marks, with some calling it a “solid nine out of 10.” One food blogger even went so far as to say the McCrispy Strips and dip combo were better than the offerings from Raising Cane’s, sparking a lively debate among fans. One commenter joked, “Something from McDonald’s tasting better than Raising Cane’s is a serious allegation I need to investigate.”
While others defended their favorite spot, saying, “Nooooo, not better than Cane’s!! That’s my favorite,” the new dip has still generated a lot of buzz. One user even complained that one sauce wasn’t enough for all the strips.
The Creamy Chili McCrispy Strip Dip and the McCrispy Chicken Strips are expected to be available nationwide by the end of the month, if not already. The release has also sparked renewed interest in McDonald’s Snack Wrap, with some joking that this could be the next step toward the return of the beloved item. It seems an official announcement could be coming soon.
