CAMPHILL MK is thrilled to announce the highly-anticipated return of their Handmade Craft & Food Fair, set to take place on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at their scenic Willen Park site. This event, designed to support a vibrant community that provides meaningful work opportunities for adults with learning disabilities, will open its doors to the broader community. It’s a time to celebrate the artistry and culinary talents of both their residents and local artisans.
Held within the expansive confines of their community theater, Chrysalis Milton Keynes, this predominantly indoor event promises to be a showcase of exceptional creativity. Attendees can expect to peruse a diverse array of goods, including Camphill MK’s own artisan baked delicacies, preserves, and honey – all sourced from their bountiful gardens. Traditional textiles and one-of-a-kind art and craft items will also be on display, making it the perfect opportunity to commence your festive shopping, savor locally produced food, and make new friends.
Camphill MK has extended invitations to 30 carefully selected local crafters, makers, and artisans to join in this celebration. Attendees can look forward to an array of offerings, including street food vendors, crafts, preserves, soaps, candles, textiles, upcycled woodwork, garden crafts, jewelry, and a variety of festive gifts.
For those seeking delectable sustenance, a selection of street food will be available outside on the grounds, offering an assortment of delicious, locally made and sourced treats. The fair will also feature entertainment provided by local musicians, whose identities will be unveiled on the day.
Importantly, all funds generated from this event will be reinvested into the vibrant charitable community that stands as a pillar of support for adults with learning disabilities and those who provide care for them. This family-friendly and open-to-all event is free of charge, embodying the spirit of community and inclusivity.
